Directed by Klaus Härö, Elina – Som om jag inte fanns tells the story of a little girl in rural northern Sweden of the early 1950s. Elina, who belongs to the Finnish-speaking minority, stands up to the persecution of her harsh headmistress and changes the hearts and minds of her community.
